Senior Accounting Specialist

Camarillo, California, United States | Admin | Full-time

The senior accounting specialist performs a variety of technical accounting duties in support of accurately maintaining the Company’s general ledger, bank statement reconciliation, tax preparation, and accounts receivable. This role will specialize in project and task assignments directly related to the processing of owner management statements.

Essential Job Functions:

· Assist with monthly financial reconciliation and provide financial information.

· Reconciles bank accounts.

· Process monthly management statements.

· Assist with A/R process for owner billing and adjustments.

· Assist with reporting, preparation, and processing of tax documents.

· Provide other financial support and assist with special projects as needed.

· Assist the Accounting Director with assigned duties and projects.

· Meet deadlines for time-sensitive tasks and projects with quality assurance.

· At all times will ensure adherence to safety, security, and quality standards established by the company.

· Other reasonably assigned duties by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

· 3 years minimum expereince in an accounting position

· Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred

· Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel

· Attention to detail, thoroughness, and a high level of accuracy

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· General math skills

· Ability to maintain confidential information

Work Environment

This position is in-office; The employee's workstation is located in an office setting. Employees will work sitting in a cubical at a computer the majority of the shift.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $30-34
